Santo Domingo.-La Conferencia del Episcopado Dominicano (CED) informó el fallecimiento de la señora Victoria Cárdenas Moya, madre de S.E.R. Monseñor Andrés Napoleón Romero Cárdenas, obispo de Barahona y gran canciller de la Universidad Católica Tecnológica de Barahona (UCATEBA).

La señora Victoria falleció en la madrugada de hoy martes 31 de marzo de 2020, a los 80 años, por complicaciones derivadas de su avanzada edad, en San Francisco de Macorís.
Cárdenas Moya nació en Ramonal, Arriba, San Francisco de Macorís y contrajo matrimonio con Napoleón Romero, actualmente animador de asamblea, con quien procreó 8 hijos.
La madre de Monseñor Andrés fue una mujer de fe y comunión junto a su esposo hasta el último momento, fiel devota de la Virgen María, bajo la advocación de la Madre tres veces Admirable de Schoenstat, y gran acogedora de los sacerdotes.
